Checking mailing lists hosted on Mailchimp

Learn how to integrate SafetyMails with your Mailchimp account to automatically validate your mailing lists, updating their status directly on the Mailchimp platform safely and conveniently.

1. Log in to your SafetyMails account

To get started, log in to your SafetyMails account. If you don't already have one, create it for free and earn 100 credits.

2. Check your credit balance

Each validated email consumes 1 credit. Check if there are any credits available in your account. If necessary, buy individual credits or subscribe to a monthly plan.

3. Start checking a list

In the top menu, click on "Validate a list" to start the email validation process.

4. Choose the option "Use an integration"

On the next screen, select the source of your list. Click on "Use an integration" to connect with Mailchimp.

5. Select Mailchimp as the source

Among the available integrations, click on the Mailchimp option.

6. Connect your Mailchimp account

You will be redirected to authenticate and connect your Mailchimp account to SafetyMails.

7. Choose the list you want to validate

Once connected, select the Mailchimp mailing list you want to check.

8. Set valid and invalid statuses

Choose the statuses that should be considered valid or invalid for sending. You can save this setting for future checks.

9. Configure the emails to be cleaned

Invalid emails are already automatically selected for removal. You can also select other statuses to be marked as "Unsubscribed" in Mailchimp after validation.

📌 This configuration does not perform recurring validations automatically. The integration is saved, but the process has to be started manually every time you want to re-validate a list.

10. Track the status of your list
After starting the check, follow the progress on the main SafetyMails screen:
  • Processing: The list is being processed.
  • Partial: Part of the emails are undergoing more in-depth checks.
  • Analysis: The check has been completed and the results can now be viewed or downloaded.
