SafetyMails offers two different ways to integrate with RD Station Marketing, both with the same goal: to prevent invalid, non-existent, or risky leads from entering or remaining in your CRM, avoiding reputation issues, blocks, and poor performance in your automation rules and email marketing campaigns.
Although they have the same purpose, the integrations work in different ways and serve different scenarios. In this article, you will understand how each one works and which one makes the most sense for your operation.

Native API on the RD Station platform
This is the simplest and fastest way to integrate, as it uses the native API available directly within RD Station.

How it works in practice
- Access your SafetyMails account.
2. In the top menu, go to Your Account and select the Integrations option.
3. Choose RD Station and start the integration process. At this stage, you will need to log in to your RD Station Marketing account and authorize the integration with SafetyMails email verification.
4. Once the integration is complete, new fields will be added to your leads regarding the email verification service. These are: SM_Email Status, SM_Email Popularity, and SM_Original Email.
5. Validation is automatically activated for new leads that enter your CRM. The SM_Email Status field for each lead will contain the classification of each address or the email validation status.
What happens to invalid leads
Within RD Station Marketing, you should:
• Create a specific segmentation list for invalid or risky leads, using the following configuration:
• Create a specific segmentation list for invalid or risky leads, using the following configuration:
| Campo | Same as |
|---|---|
| INVALIDO | |
- Give this list an easily identifiable name.
Whenever a new invalid lead enters the CRM, it will be automatically identified and included in this list.
From there, you can:
• Delete these leads periodically;
• Or simply use the list as an exclusion in email marketing campaigns and automations.
This approach is ideal for those who want operational control without directly interfering at the moment of conversion.
Form protection API
The form protection API acts before the lead enters the CRM, meaning that email validation happens in real time, as the form is being filled out.
This is the best option for those who want to block invalid, non-existent, temporary, or risky emails at the source.
This is the best option for those who want to block invalid, non-existent, temporary, or risky emails at the source.
How the protection API works
- The SafetyMails API is integrated directly into the RD Station form.
• When the user enters their email address and tries to submit the form, validation occurs in real time.
• If the email address is considered invalid or risky, the form is not submitted.
• The lead simply does not enter the RD Station CRM, avoiding any subsequent impact on automations, lists, or sending reputation.
This model drastically reduces:
• Fake or incorrectly typed leads;
• Temporary or disposable email addresses;
• Unnecessary storage and sending costs;
• Soft bounce, hard bounce, and blocking issues.
Installation of the protection API
The installation is done directly in RD Station forms and involves adding the SafetyMails API according to the official documentation. The integration works in the installation model of our standard email verification API script in forms on landing pages and websites using the following platforms: WordPress, Dinamize, Unbounce, Landigi, Hubspot, LeadLover, E-Goi, Google Tag Manager, among others.

Which integration should you choose?
- Native API in RD Station: ideal for those who want to identify and manage invalid leads after entering the CRM.
• Form protection API: ideal for those who want to completely prevent invalid emails from entering from the first contact.
In many cases, the two solutions can be used in a complementary manner, further increasing the quality of the lead base.
