How to prepare your mailing list for Verification

Preparing your mailing list correctly is essential to guarantee reliable results during the verification process. By following a few simple steps, you can avoid common mistakes and ensure that your campaigns reach the right audience with maximum deliverability.

1. Organize the data on your list

Make sure that all email addresses are in a single column in the file. The mailing list must be saved in CSV (Comma-Separated Values) format, the standard accepted by SafetyMails.

2. Correct characters and standardize columns
Avoid problems caused by accents, symbols or out-of-order columns. Unify the data, especially if your list was created from different sources.

Different data sources can result in files with different text encodings and out-of-order columns. Therefore, organization is key to successful verification.
3. Convert to list for CSV

Once your mailing list is properly organized and in CSV format, you're ready to import it into SafetyMails and start the verification process.

4. Upload and start the verification

With the mailing list ready and in CSV, import the file into SafetyMails and start the validation. The system detects syntax errors, invalid domains and other risks.

5. Use your verified mailing list
Once the verification process has been completed, you will be able to use your mailing list with confidence. Invalid email addresses or those with syntax problems have been removed, which ensures that your email marketing campaigns reach your target audience effectively.

Keep in mind that email verification is not a one-off process. It is a best practice to ensure that your mailing list remains clean and up-to-date. It is therefore advisable to repeat the verification regularly, especially when adding new contacts to your list.

6. Check your list regularly

Avoid accumulating outdated contacts. Every time you add new addresses, repeat the verification process to keep your mailing list reliable.
