How to Use the API to Verify Email on Landingi Landing Page

Step-by-Step to Verify Email in Landingi Landing Page Forms

The real-time email verification API allows installation on your Landing Pages in Landingi, preventing the entry of invalid email leads into your database.

By activating this functionality, SafetyMails will generate a ready-to-install code for your Landing Pages.

Create a Source

Remember that for this email verification API to work, you need to have an activated credit subscription (see how to subscribe).

To start the process, follow these steps:

  1. Access your account on SafetyMails (If you don’t have an account, create one now and get 100 free credits).
  2. In the top menu, click on “Real-time API.”
  3. Select the “Standard Installation” option.
  4. On the next screen, give a name to the source you are creating;
  5. Register the domain of your form (for example, if your form is at “https://safetymails.com/form,” you should enter only “safetymails.com”);
  6. After that, select the option “On a platform” from the list of options where you intend to use your API.
  7. Select the Landingi platform.
  8. On the screen that will be displayed, you can configure the permissions for your API for forms, namely:
    1. Allowed statuses: define which API response statuses will allow registration in the form.
    2. Block provider domains: enabling this function will prevent the registration of emails with provider domains, such as Gmail.com, Yahoo.com, among others.
  9. By clicking “Finish,” the installation script of the API to verify email will be created and available for use.
  10. The details of the created API will be described on this page.

Example of Code

In the Landingi Panel

  1. Access your account.
  2. Insert an HTML element into the layout of the chosen landing page.
  3. Inside this element, insert the code provided by SafetyMails.
  4. Save the block and the Landing Page, and the API will be enabled.

Your SafetyMails API should work correctly on your Landing Page.
